Description

CDA353 High Leaded Brass is a copper-zinc-lead alloy developed for applications that need efficient machining and repeatable component production. Its higher lead content improves cutting performance, making it suitable for automatic screw machine parts, fittings, gears, valve stems, and detailed brass components.

This alloy is suitable for blanking, machining, piercing, punching, roll threading, knurling, and stamping. It offers excellent soldering suitability, good brazing suitability, and a machinability rating of 90, while hot forming is rated as poor.
