Description
PB1 Phosphor Bronze, also known as tin bronze, is designed for applications where durability, bearing performance and resistance to wear are important. The tin content supports corrosion resistance and strength, while phosphorus improves stiffness and wear resistance.
This alloy is commonly supplied in cast form and is suitable for industrial components such as gears, bearings and heavy load bushes. It is also used across applications such as bushings, shafts, gears, thrust washers, valve parts and other wear-resistant components.
